You can’t go wrong here. No wonder they’ve been there for over 25 years. Food is very good. Go in. Order. Go sit down. They’ll come find you in no time. Not a fancy place. It’s about the food. I can only repeat, you can’t go wrong here.

I've had the pleasure of knowing what food and community mean when it comes to Leal's - there's no exception, just good food that's consistent and on the money. Since 1995, I've had their breakfast burritos, and I can tell you that each one was just as good as the next. I've never had a bad breakfast burrito. Now, if you're from out of town or new to town and you prefer to drink Bloody Mary's out of a glass that looks like it holds tennis balls, then this isn't the place for you. But if you're willing to sit down in a good family-run restaurant, shut your phone off, and talk to some of the locals, then this is the place for you. People get things done at Leal's - other than taking pics of the restroom and reporting about how dirty it is. I've seen massive business deals go down with a burrito in one hand and a pen in the other. Friendships are made, and great food is to be had. If you want a Woodway original and you still eat with a fork and sometimes your hands, then come to Leal's for the best food in town!

I've been coming here since I was a junior in high school, in 2000. Everything I've ever had here has been excellent, but nothing will ever beat their chili topper. And as for people? Even after all this time, Cesar remembers me and my order. His sons run the place as well as he did, too. I could go on, but I won't bore you reading this. Long story short go get a chili topper, add some jalapenos and onions, and say hi for me!

This is authentic Mexican food, not tex-mex like Rosa's down the street. I say that because some of these reviews seem to be looking for more of that flavor and experience.... this isnt that. If you want Abuela's tortillas, and authentic salsa, not picante sauce, and authentic recipes you found your spot. Nothing fancy to the building but who cares its a local Mexican diner that's been in the same location since I was in high-school. Not a date night spot. It's where locals come for breakfast and lunch. If you're offended by Spanish speaking workers, make your own food at home. Its family owned and operated, you're going to feel like part of the family and leave full.

They know me when I call! Love that! Know my usual order. Carne guisada and bean tacos! Green salsa is the best!!

A Woodway staple, probably one of the longest running restaurants here besides Shipley’s. The Leal family is wonderful and such a blessing to the community. Love the way you are treated inside - can’t beat the breakfast burrito!!
